E' online il programma della Conferenza Museums and the Web in programma a Firenze dal 18 al 21 febbraio 2014. Il tema della Conferenza è Open Museums and Smartcities: Storytelling and Connected Culture: vi saranno presentazioni e discussioni su strumenti, linguaggi e innovazioni digitali come nuove forme di accesso al patrimonio culturale. L'evento è aperto ai professionisti della cultura, agli operatori del settore, a chi si occupa di comunicazione e social media, agli interessati alle tematiche connesse alla comunicazione, alle tecnologie, ai linguaggi contemporanei. Per partecipare occorre registrarsi il prima possibile poiché i posti sono limitati.
Il 18 febbraio è il pre-conference day, con due appuntamenti speciali presso l'Auditorium di Santa Apollonia: Mobile Summit, aperto ai professionisti e agli esperti di mobile per la cultura e Horizon2020 and Creative Europe vs Digital Heritage: A European Projects Crossover, approfondimenti sulle tematiche chiave dei bandi europei Horizon 2020 per il patrimonio culturale, con la possibilità di fare networking. Il 21 febbraio è il giorno delle Masterclass & Tour, con workshop dedicati al mobile, al social storytelling, alla scienza, alla graphic novel, ai modelli di business, seguiti da tour all'interno dei musei che ospitano i workshop.
