Mancano pochi giorni al Convegno Internazionale Cultural Heritage and New Technologies (CHNT) che si svolgerà a Vienna dall'11 al 13 novembre 2013 sul tema "Archeologia urbana e corretta documentazione"
La documentazione di siti archeologici e culturali è il cuore del processo ed un'importante fase nella ricerca per i beni culturali e la loro valorizzazione; uno step essenziale nell'interpretazione ed analisi. E' ciò che fa diventare "scientifico" l'archeologia e il patrimonio culturale.
Tra le varie novità di quest'anno "CHNT goes Public", la conferenza sarà quindi aperta ai visitatori interessati con la presentazione di espositori, presentazione di tre libri, e presentaizone del West Ukraine Cultural Heritage Cadastre e dell'Open Government Data of the Urban Archaeologie di Vienna.

Urban Archaeology and Correct documentation
Documentation of archaeological and cultural heritage sites is the heart of the process and an important component in cultural heritage research and presentation. It is an essential step in interpretation and analysis. It is what makes archaeology and cultural heritage "scientific".
We are all storytellers and what type of story we want to tell determines our way of collecting and organising our archaeological data.

What we are doing:

All venues are easily reachable by public transport
Eat & drink well.
Delegates attending the conference will enjoy fair traded and regional food and drinks from reusable dishes.
Avoid paper waste.
We will provide you with in large part paperless information (upcoming app for online information).
Waste separation we see as a matter of course.
The amount of printed material, writing utensils, give aways and decoration will be kept at a minimum to avoid waste.
